Shawn Kalgren

Shawn found an interest in real estate while buying rental properties over the years in the Charlotte area. As the owner of a very successful general contracting business, he is combining his passion for real estate and his success as a contractor. Shawn is now leading clients successfully through the process of buying and selling homes. Shawn was born in Brockway, Pennsylvania and graduated from IUP in 1997 with a BA in Secondary English Education. He is married to Kari and is the proud parent of two girls. In his free time he enjoys backpacking, mountain biking, and traveling with his family. The name John Jose is inspired by the relationship Shawn had with his grandfather, John Jose. He always encouraged Shawn as he was growing up and helped him realize his dreams of owning his own businesses.
